Anyway you can have all the fancy gear or all the greatest hits but if you cannot work it and hold the groove and crowd what good is any of it? Like I’ve been asking over and over why are people having problems with DJay? It’s pretty simplistic and has functions that other apps lack.

But I’m well versed in all genres and actually can drop a multi genre set unlike most people who are genre jaded. I just dont feel the need to own turn down for what or the electric slide or because by default I play House and Drum and Bass. I have a 128gb iPad and iPhone for a reason… Music just because I take advantage of streaming media doesn’t mean I don’t buy music I got plenty. Hell now days I can actually kill a set on my iPad or iPhone better than most people with the gear you have. Me personnel I rather just play out on thumb drives or laptop and the promoter or club provide the gear but that’s not always the case. Using things like the wego3, ergo or any cheap 300-500 controller works fine for playing out. Thinking rane 2015 CDJ 900 nexus and 1200s or maybe a 4ch all in one that supports DVS and stand alone mixing.

Sure there is a few updates coming to our studio we are just debating on how to get everything we want and not feel like we are going to miss out on versatility. It’s not like mixing music is all that difficult. Oh correction that’s my girl’s DJ setup but you know hey I can mix on it too. Oh yeah DJay pro works with the nexus equipment and xdj1000… I have some old Denon CDJs with motorized platters that I use with traktor.

But the solution is a old launch pad or the wego3 mapped to my needs for Serato DJ (samples, effects etc…) Basically all your equipment either runs Serato or traktor when it comes to software. Wish numark would make v7s with built in pads. Because my v7s are way past the build quality of any pioneer hardware and the motorized platters are on point. About the only thing you even listed that caught my eye was the urei rotary. I don’t think my 2 v7s and Ecler nuo 2.0 are even close to toys more like tools that allow me to mix music.
